Historic Riverside Cemetery is in the news for partnering with the Wreaths Across America program.
The Fox Classic Hits Network in Middle Georgia (which includes 94.7 FM, 98.3 FM, and 105.9 FM) spoke to Wayne Hanson with Wreaths Across America about the over 1,300 ceremonies taking place Saturday, including the one at Riverside Cemetery.

All events nationwide start at noon eastern time to synchronize with the laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.
“We feel like we have a virtual moment of silence all across the country as they start their ceremonies,” Hanson said.
We invite you to be a part of Wreaths Across America at Riverside Cemetery. Every year, volunteers place wreaths at the gravesites of fallen heroes and hold a special ceremony.
