Markers, made of Georgia marble, granite or bronze, can be upright, in statuary form, or flush with the ground. The wishes of the loved one or their family will be accommodated as they fall within the overall design concept of the cemetery.
Record System
Even if a loved one’s remains were scattered according to their wishes, families may choose to erect a marker at Riverside to memorialize their life and provide a place to visit in their memory. The placement of a marker here provides inclusion of a loved one in our online record-keeping database so that friends, family, and future generations can search for and find obituary information and a memorial record including a photograph and the location of the memorial.
